Zach Russell is driven to achieve the goals he sets for himself and those he serves. After he obtained his BBA from Saint Francis Xavier University with a major in Finance, Zach lost no time in setting up his own practice with IG Wealth Management in 2007. Even as a busy entrepreneur, Zach continued studying and ultimately obtained both his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^® and Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC) designations.

Zach joined as a named partner with McKenzie, Hoover, McPhee, Russell in January 2019. He continues to grow the practice and specialize in serving private wealth clients, with a focus on physicians, dentists, business owners and professionals.

Zach is not just all business; he also displays the easy-going affability of a sports team player as he was captain of the Men’s Basketball team at St.FX University. His love of the sport also spurred him into coaching and volunteering roles with children and young adults both in Halifax and Vancouver. Zach lives in downtown Vancouver with his wife where they both enjoy outdoor activities and exploring new places, food, and wine through travel.
